Engr. Ahmad Hassan
Industrialist, Engineer & R&D Leader
Engr. Ahmad Hassan is a distinguished industrialist and metallurgical engineer with extensive experience in manufacturing, engineering, foundry operations, research, and industrial development. He serves as the Chief Executive of Chenab Engineering Works & Foundries (Pvt.) Ltd., a company with a long-standing presence in Pakistan’s engineering and foundry sector.
He served as Vice President of the Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FCCI) during 2016–17 and chaired the Standing Committee on Research & Development. During his tenure, he played a leading role in establishing the R&D Department at FCCI, with the objective of promoting industrial research, innovation, technology, and stronger collaboration between industry and academia.
The R&D initiative received valuable financial support from Mr. Mussadiq Zulqarnain of Interloop Limited and Mr. Saeed Sheikh, President of FCCI (2016–17). Engr. Ahmad Hassan also contributed to the establishment and development of the Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry, supporting greater participation of women in the business community.
His vision for R&D has focused on transforming research and knowledge into practical industrial solutions, particularly in areas such as renewable energy, artificial intelligence, digitalization, skilled human resources, environmental sustainability, and industrial technology.
Through his professional leadership and commitment to innovation, Engr. Ahmad Hassan continues to contribute to the advancement of engineering, industrial research, technological development, and sustainable industrial growth in Pakistan.
